Sneak peek into what to expect from ‘Remote Control’ by Nnedi Okorafor in January 2021

Nigerian-American writer of fantasy and science fiction Nnedi Okorafor has announced that her new book “Remote Control” will be available on 19 January 2021.

Nnedi Okorafor has a new book and it’s coming this January. The science fiction novella is titled “Remote Control” and it is already a popular piece among first readers.

Tweeting about the book, Nnedi wrote:

Explaining why readers should not miss “Remote Control“, Goodreads said on its list of ‘The most anticipated books of 2021’;

“Nnedi Okorafor is one of the brightest stars in the sci-fi skyline, winner of the most coveted awards in the business. So when Okorafor drops a new book, it’s a good day.

“Advance details on Remote Control are hard to come by, but that’s OK. It’s usually best to go fresh into Okarafor’s worlds, anyway. We do have one clue: The book features the adopted daughter of the Angel of Death.”

New Scientist also mentions Nnedi’s coming book among its ’10 of the best sci-fi books that you should read in 2021′ list.

It says “Remote Control” is about Sankofa, an ordinary girl who became Death. The book follows her and her fox companion as they search the world for answers about what created her.

Amazon will start selling “Remote Control” by Nnedi Okorafor on 19 January 2021.

Okorafor is one of the most successful science fiction writers of Nigerian descent. Her trilogy “Binti” is being adapted into a series on Hulu and she is co-writing the pilot with Stacy Amma Osei-Kuffour of HBO’s Watchmen series.
