On Sunday 27th September 2020, Dorathy Bachor, was announced as the first runner up of the BBNaija Season 5 edition. She finished behind Laycon, the overall winner, but ahead of Nengi as the last woman standing.

The story appeared on ab-tc, a gossip blog. According to the blog, the information came from a social media source that claims to have recognised her as belonging to an escort service website that she used herself. Her statement allegedly reads;
