Kodak Black alongide his entourage were surprised by an unknown shooter outside a fast food joint in Florida, leaving one of his security guards in critical condition, the police reports.
The gunfire broke out in the parking lot of a McDonald’s in Tallahassee around 3 AM Monday morning. Law enforcement confirms that the Kodak and co got shot at from a car that was tailing them.
Also, the law enforcement sources claim several cars had been following the rapper’s entourage in an attempt to cut them off as they left a nightclub, but Kodak’s camp stopped at the McDonald’s, blocking the entrance with a car while KB went inside to pick up an order.
Reports also suggest one of the cars tailing Kodak pulled up to the same McDonald’s, left, and then returned after which people inside the vehicle started shooting.
Kodak’s security guard was left injured after being shot in the leg and was rushed to a local hospital. He sustained serious injuries according to police reports, while Kodak was transported in an armored car and was unharmed.
Kodak was said to be headlining a Sunday music festival in the town, Cultur3 Fest, and his security guard is reportedly in surgery due to one of the shots apparently hitting an artery.
The rapper’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, tells reporters the security guard was hit by gunfire when in the car but Kodak was not in the vehicle. The security guard is now in stable condition.
