Reality stars Lucy and Kaisha of the BBNaija Lockdown show were both reportedly assaulted by men of the Nigeria Police Force.
A viral video recorded from Kaisha’s Instagram live feed shows the alleged assault as well as one of the policemen involved.
The duo have recounted their experience in a series of videos that went viral online. The reality TV stars went on Instagram Live as they recorded their encounter with the overzealous police officers.
According to Kaisha, one of the police officers asked to search her handbag, which she refused. This did not go down well as one of the officers prevented the ladies from entering their car.
However, it is not clear how the assault ended and if the ladies were freed because the live session was cut midway when the police officer appeared to have hit Kaisha’s phone.

The reality show duo are not the first to be allegedly assaulted by men of the police force even as several celebrities have made numerous reports of police officers’ lack of professionalism and questionable conduct.
Nigerian actress Beverly Osu at one time revealed how she suffered from PTSD from being a victim of SARS assault. PTSD is post-traumatic stress disorder. The actress says she suffered this after an encounter with SARS operatives.
According to Beverly, she was slapped by some men dressed in black who claimed they were police officers. She narrated the horrifying ordeal in a video as her own contribution to the outcry to scrap the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS).
