Cardi B and Megan thee Stallion team up for ‘Wap’| Get the scoop

Female rappers, Cardi B and Megan thee Stallion have teamed up for a new single titled, ‘Wap’ which will be released this Friday.

This will be the rappers’ first song together and was produced by Ayo n Keyz. The song makes it Cardi B’s first single since 2019’s Press and Megan thee Stallion’s first song since her last, ‘Girls in the Hood’, which was released recently.

This collaboration comes on the heels of Megan’s traumatic experience of being shot, something she has described as the worst experience of her life.

Before this, she released a collaboration with fellow Houston native, Beyonce, a song that reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The artwork which was released to stoke anticipation for the song has become instantly iconic with several fans putting their own spin on the artwork.

The cover features Megan and Cardi B with their tongues out and joined at the hair by a shared hairstyle. See it below:
