Chadwick Boseman: Fans, producers, and actors share tributes to the ‘Black Panther’s actor

‘Black Panther’ actor, Chadwick Boseman has died of Colon Cancer aged 43, and people can’t quite believe it yet.

Chadwick portrayed the first Black player in Major League Baseball, Jackie Robinson, in “42,” in 2013; the sizzling soul singer James Brown in “Get On Up,” in 2014; and the first Black Supreme Court justice, Thurgood Marshall, in “Marshall,” in 2017.

However, the role that he was best known for was Marvel’s Black Panther. He played T’Challa in Captain America: Civil War and then reprised his role in Black Panther in 2018.

Boseman died with his wife and family by his side. Since his death was announced, a host of fans, producers, and actors have shared tributes to the actor.

The Academy reacted to the news by writing: “An immeasurable loss. From “Black Panther” to “Da 5 Bloods,” Chadwick Boseman brought strength and light to the screen, every time.”

Marvel Entertainment tweeted: “Our hearts are broken and our thoughts are with Chadwick Boseman’s family. Your legacy will live on forever. Rest In Peace.”
