The rapper was booed off stage at Tyler, the creator’s concert at Camp Flog Gnaw which took place at the Dodgers’ Stadium in Los Angeles on 9 November.
Here’s what happened:
Concertgoers attended the concert expecting to see Frank Ocean as the surprise main headliner. So, they were disappointed when instead of Frank, Drake was unveiled as the headliner.
Drake deserves some credit though – he tried to appease the crowd. In the middle of his song Wu-Tang Forever, the 33-year-old tried to calm the angry crowd.
“Make some noise for yourself tonight,” Drake said. “I’m here for you tonight. If you want to keep going, I will keep going. What’s up?”
The crowd clearly didn’t want him to keep going, and they expressed their displeasure loudly booing him.
“If you want to keep going,” he said again, “I will keep going tonight.”
As the screams of “no” got louder, Drake said: “It’s been love.”
Then he left the stage, ending his performance 20 minutes early. “I love ya’ll. I go by the name of Drake. Thank you for having me.”

Some fans boo loudly. One yells “No!”

However, Drake has now reacted to the incident in the pettiest and funniest way.
He’s telling the Camp Flog Gnaw concertgoers: “oh, you didn’t want to see me, now you get to see me every year!”
He announced on his Instagram page that he has signed a ten-year residency at Camp Flog Gnaw.
“Plot twist…,” he wrote. “just signed a 10 year residency at Camp Flog Gnaw sorry kids see you EVERY SINGLE YEAR till you are 30”
