Switch revealed to GQ that she is currently on the run after receiving a message on her phone telling her that she would be shot.
A friend in the intelligence industry had also told her to go into hiding, which solidified her decision.
Recall that DJ Switch recorded the Instagram Live that chronicled the events of 20 October when soldiers from the Nigerian Army shot at the peaceful protesters.
She also shared a second Instagram video where she shared that both soldiers and police officers were present at the Lekki toll gate on that night.
Since then, she said she has been in hiding, never spending more than a night in one location.
Falz, on the other hand, kickstarted a movement with Runtown, leading a march on 8 October.
Since then, he has spoken to Christiane Amanpour of CNN, staged a sit-in at the National Assembly, used his Instagram page with over seven million followers to create global awareness, and so much more.
He told GQ: “We thought maybe 50 to 100 people would come out but on that first day more than 2000 people showed up”.
When he was asked if he is afraid for his life, he said: “I’d rather die fulfilling a purpose than die for nothing. I’m not afraid to die.”
This is not a joke o
