Veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has addressed Nigerians who think she has been compromised after she questioned the Lekki tollgate shootings.
Last week, the beautiful actress asked that the family members of those who reportedly died during the Lekki toll gate incident, to come forward, and she appealed that if there were no deaths, people should stop with the sensationalisation.
A lot of people dragged her for that statement, and some said maybe she has been compromised by the government due to the now-deleted tweet.
Omotola has now cleared the air, saying she has never received a bribe or a dime from the government.
“I am not somebody you can lure with money. I have never in my life been bribed by government, I have never collected government dime.” she says.
According to Omotola, the harmless tweet was to let Nigerians know that they were actually winning and they needed to get back on track.
