The female celebrities collaborated to recreate their own version of the challenge which is currently trending after going viral on social media.

The challenge started after a video of Governor El-Rufai of Kaduna state surfaced on social media. In the video, an aide opened the car door for another colleague who in turn did the same for the governor. Initial reactions from Nigerians across social media platforms slated for the governor for encouraging what was described as a wasteful approach to governance.

After the video went viral and incited public outrage, several social media influencers took to recreating the video using the #OpenDoorChallenge hashtag, howbeit, as a satirical mockery of the governor.
