Now, the most popular movie on Netflix this weekend is none other than ‘Project Power’, which asks the question: “what would you do if you could swallow a drug that would give you superpowers for five minutes?”
In the movie, it is not a matter of if you will take the drug, but a matter of what you will use the powers for. A detective even goes so low as to get the drug from a local drug-pushing teen.
‘Project Power’ is a sci-fi and fantasy movie tells the story of a former soldier who teams up with a police officer to find the source behind a dangerous pill that provides temporary superpowers.
It stars Jamie Foxx, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Dominique Fishback, Colson Baker, Rodrigo Santoro, Amy Landecker and Allen Maldonado.
The movie was directed by Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost, produced by Eric Newman and Bryan Unkeless, and written by Mattson Tomlin.
