Apparently, Huesca’s first choice goalkeeper, Alejandro Remiro, is set to return to Athletico Bilbao following the expiration of his loan deal.
Coincidentally, Uzoho’s contract with his present team, Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna, where he is presently the third choice is due to expire on the 30th of July.
Deportivo is said to have opened talks of an extension of a contract with the 19-year-old, but the two parties are yet to reach an agreement. Uzoho is favoured by Coach Gernot Rohr as the first choice in goal for Nigeria effectively displacing Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi.
