A number of places were closed, including parks, eateries, clubs, and cinemas, even with social distancing. This was understandable though as the number of Coronavirus cases continued to rise.
Now, though, it looks as if things are returning to normal. After it was announced that schools will resume in September, the same has been announced for gyms, cinemas, and many other places.
While we have missed going to the cinema with loved ones and missed the feel and look of watching movies in theatres alongside the red carpets and pomp that come with it all, things are about to change.
You can now allow yourself to get excited because come Friday, you will be able to go to the cinema and enjoy all the movies that you’ve wanted to watch for a while.
The Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN) has announced that cinemas will be open from 11 September 2020.

While you are having fun, you should remember that Coronavirus is still out there so you should take precautions and use your facemasks.
We want to know, which movie will you be watching at the cinema this weekend? Let us know in the comments section below.
