Naira Marley showed no sign of relenting when he released his sixth single in 2019. the interesting thing about the single was that it dropped just days after the controversial artist was released from EFCC detention.
He titled the song Soapy and was officially released on 28 June 2019.
Soapy was deemed controversial by some who saw it as promoting masturbation from the dance moves Naira Marley created for the song. The listeners had a divided opinion of the song but it didn’t stop the song from being a hit.
