Afro-fusion and dancehall artiste, Burna Boy released a single on the 6th of February 2017 titled “Halleluyah”, his first of that year. The song is a mid-tempo track that was produced by Killa beats.
Burna Boy followed an inspirational route on “Hallelujah” and just as the title suggests, he leaves all of his gratitude on the song whose lyrics cut across many demographics because every human has a reason to be thankful.
Burna boy tells a story of how he has survived many trying times and several challenges and gave thanks for his achievements and the little things people generally take for granted.
The video for “Hallelujah” reflects all of Burna’s dignified lyrics with shots of Burna in white overalls on the mountain high, basically symbolising holiness. It’s has gotten over 15 million views on YouTube to date and was directed by Mattmax.
