Verzuz co-creators Timbaland and Swizz Beatz will go toe to toe once again, showcasing their producing prowess on Memorial Day weekend, 30 May 2021 as they battle it out once again for their hit web series.
They both battled it out live on Instagram in March last year during the lockdown caused by the pandemic but this year would be a different turn altogether as it would be hosted live in Miami.

Verzuz was one of the highlights of the lockdown and it served fans around the world premium entertainment value for their time.

It was introduced as a virtual DJ battle and Timbaland and Swizz Beatz kicked things off.
Before Verzuz, the pair had earlier dueled on stage in 2018 as part of a producer clash battle. This was at the Hot 97 Summer Jam in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Fans across the world await another epic battle between Timbaland who has produced for the likes of Jay-Z, Lenny Kravitz, Missy Elliott, Kanye West, Aaliyah, Cher, and Madonna, and Beatz who have DMX, Lil’ Wayne, The Weeknd, Drake, Eve, Diddy, among others on his list.
Ever since Verzuz was founded, it has featured friendly competitions between musicians and during the lockdown, the world witnessed a few interesting matchups. Monica and Brandy faced off, Alicia Keys and John Legend was another highlight, and the late DMX also battled it out against Snoop Dogg in July.
