The long-awaited romantic comedy, ‘Kambili: The Whole 30 Yards’, which was originally scheduled for a June 2020 release, was pushed back because of the sudden outbreak of the Coronavirus.
Now, the movie has finally gotten a release date with the hopes that it will finally get a day in the cinema (assuming the ongoing #EndSARS protests don’t prompt filmmakers to shift the release date).
‘Kambili: The Whole 30 Yards’ was directed by Kayode Kasum and produced by Mimi Bartels.
‘Kambili: The Whole 30 Yards’ follows the story of its titular character, Kambili Maduka (Nancy Isime), an irresponsible spendthrift who embarks on a plan to convince her boyfriend that she could be his dream woman.
The movie also stars ‘Living In Bondage’ star actor Jide Kene Achufusi as well as Elvina Ibru, Venita Akpofure, Uzor Arukwe, Koye Kekere-Ekun, Sharoon Ooja, Mawuli Gavor and Toyin Abraham.
