Warner Bros. has announced that “Godzilla vs. Kong” will be coming on 26 March 2021, two months earlier than its initial May 2021 date.
It appears that the producers cannot wait to let us see what they have done with the two biggest creatures in fiction history and we can’t wait too.
Warner Bros. also mentioned that it will release 16 other movies along with “Godzilla vs. Kong” on HBO Max the same day it enters cinemas.
Since it will be available only for HBO Max in the United States, other subscribers will have to wait 31 days to stream it.
Fans of both the Godzilla and King Kong franchise will be excited about this bit of news on “Godzilla vs. Kong”. The story will combine the Japanese Toho stories for Godzilla and Edgar Wallace & Merian C. Cooper theories on King Kong.
It has taken over five years to get to this stage after Legendary Pictures announced the project in October 2015. Initially, the release was scheduled for November 2020 but the COVID-19 pandemic made this impossible.
The movie boasts a rich cast with Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Shun Oguri, Jessica Henwick, and more. Here are some of the reactions to the news about the earlier release date:
So wait… in 3 months we’re gonna have:
