Fear is, most times, avoiding something you are meant to do. It can be avoiding a tough conversation you need to have, not wanting to fall in love for fear of heartbreak, not going for that interview because you fear you won’t be taken, not speaking you mind because you don’t want a NO for an answer, etc.
Instead of being afraid, we must be courageous. But, as you probably know by now, courage isn’t the absence of fear; it’s the willingness to face it in spite of how you feel.
You need to learn how to face your fears, embrace them, and courageously come out a victor.
Start by standing up for what you want or what really matters to you. Don’t hide or tremble because of one thing or the other. Learn to be courageous. Courage, then, is not the absence of fear; it’s the byproduct of action.
It may not be easy at all I know, but you have to train yourself to embrace your fears.
If you are going to do any important work in this world, you cannot run away. You must stay and face the fear, disciplining yourself in the art of making courageous decisions.
The only thing you should fear in this life is fear itself, because it can be so limiting.
Courage is the by-product of action. Nice one
Fear is just one terrible thing. Truthfully, it can so limit someone. Thank you Chisom
Well said.
