And one way some Christians usher in the new year is what is called crossover services. And at these services, presumably, the faithful thank God for the year that was ending aka 2017 and pray for goodies for the coming year aka 2018.
And if you’re like us and couldn’t attend for one reason or the other, thankfully there’s Twitter. All we need to do is to click on the hashtag and see what turns up. Cross Over Service is the best service to attend, cos its just some hours ushering you into the new year. Its fun and you get to make requests from God. Also make a new year resolution… But like they say, Faith without works is dead. So Nigerians need to work harder, so that this resolutions and requests to God can work.
True
But Nigerians should understand that they have their part to play. God will bless us but without our own work? we would neutralize the Grace.
