We now know why Queen Elizabeth never revealed her favourite food

If you had ever wondered what British Monarch, Queen Elizabeth’s favourite food was then you’re in luck.

This is because Her Majesty has never revealed what her favourite things to eat were. But we now know the why behind that. And it’s for a very practical reason judging from a recent publication by the Express.

The Queen never lets on on her favourite food simply because she fears those hosting her will serve nothing else when she visits. Hmmm, we can identify with that even if it is somewhat presumptuous. But again, who wants to unintentional put pressure on people, certainly not the Queen who is celebrated for her politeness and courtesy behaviour.

The reveal was made by Gordon Rayner, a former royal correspondent for The Telegraph, who has covered more than 20 royal tours and discovered this fact from a member of staff.

As one of her staff told me, ‘If she said she had a favourite meal she would never get served anything else.’” says Rayner

Now, the Queen said to enjoy chocolate biscuit cake and that she always takes it with her when she travels.

Now the chocolate biscuit cake is the only cake that goes back again and again and again every day until it’s all gone,” Darren McGrady, Queen Elizabeth’s former personal chef and author of ‘Eating Royally’ told baking website RecipePlus.

She’ll take a small slice every day until eventually there is only one tiny piece, but you have to send that up, she wants to finish the whole of that cake.”

Anyon would, just shows the Queen is only human like she has consistently shown us.
