The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 20 new cases of the Coronavirus in Nigeria, the highest recorded on a single day so far in Nigeria.
This has taken the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 131, with two recorded Coronavirus-related death and eight discharged from the hospital as of 9:00 pm 30th March 2020.
Lagos state has been the worst hit with the pandemic so far recording a total of 81 cases out of the 131. And in response to this, the federal government had decided to place a curfew on some states, Lagos State inclusive.
Taking to their Twitter account, the NCDC announced the increment of confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in Nigeria.
However, Nigerians have been urged to remain calm in the face of the Coronavirus and to employ safety guidelines in their daily lives.
