$9m allegedly discovered in home of ex Amnesty boss, Paul Tarelah Boroh

$9m Cash has allegedly been discovered in the Abuja residence of ex Amnesty boss, Brig Gen Paul Tarelah Boroh (rtd).

The discovery is said to have been made by the EFCC in conjunction with the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA).

Boroh was  sacked as the special adviser on Niger Delta to President Muhammadu Buhari. He was also the coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme

According to ThisDay, the discovery was made a few hours after his arrest on Monday by a combined team of EFCC and ONSA operatives. The EFCC head, media and publicity, Mr. Wilson Uwujiaren, confirmed the arrest.

A senior security agent  told ThisDay that Boroh was picked up from his home in Gwarinpa, Abuja, on Monday, but was taken back to his residence at about 3 am on Tuesday by the security operatives who raided his house for hours and made the cash discovery of $9 million at his home.

However, right now, he remains in the custody of the EFCC.
