Apparently riled/irritated by the inconsistent manner the president during state and private functions had been recognised in the past, the federal government has taken definite steps to address the issue. In a circular released today by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, the government gives a clear guidance on how the president is to be addressed.
The memo reads in part:
