On one of the photos, the Instagram user @so_virtuous, writes a caption saying: “They were with me from beginning to end! When I wanted to give up on Law school they were my lifelines! Thank God for children!”
On a photo dated late last year, she writes about how she doubted her dream of becoming a lawyer ever coming true because thought she was too old with too many kids.
“God is about to make me somebody’s lawyer! I remember walking into Ministers for Christ with the thought of being a lawyer far from my mind. When my First Lady came to me & said, ‘God told me to tell you that that lawyer you wanted to be, you’re going to be it.’
“I thought it was a joke, but I said to myself, ‘How did she know I wanted to be a lawyer?’ She told me to go back to school and I laughed to myself because I thought I was too old with too many kids…..but look at what God did!
“I thank God for my parents, Bishop Richard Holman and Louise Holman, for the prophesies, prayers, instructions and encouragement through the countless late night calls listening to me cry and complain, and for being there holding my hand every step of the way even when I wanted to give up!
“Along with them I thank God for my two sisters Ebony Champs & Louise B. Adams for being the best sisters a girl can have, despite how many times I’ve dumped my kids off on them to study, and for being there for me and my babies when times were easy and when they were hard!
“This is all God’s doing and I’ll reverence Him in all that I do!!! Glory to God I can see the finish line! May2018 ?????????? GodFavoredMe YesImExtra.”
It’s never too late to achieve dreams as long as there is life!
