It is human nature to feel compassion when misfortune befalls others and it is not really surprising that many sympathize with the 21,000+ teachers who are on the verge of losing their jobs in Kaduna State. But it ends there; sympathy and compassion.

There is a new call making rounds on Twitter to bring those responsible for employing this teachers in the first place to judgment after the State government tweeted pictures on a result in the Competency test organized in the State that has led to all the issues that involve using pupils to carry out protest.

The supposed teacher whose name was hidden even started failing from the cover page when he/she wrote ‘Aweeting Great II’ in place of ‘Awaiting Grade II’. Inside we discover that the attempt at writing a letter was enough for anyone to start pitying the children who had been learning under this teacher all this while.

This sheds more light on the reason why teaching is made compulsory for every graduate serving in National Youth Service Corps as it will help curb if not completely put an end to the kind of terror this picture is showing.
