Sugar Rush now the 4th highest-grossing Nollywood film of all time; Adesua rejoices

Sugar Rush

Jade Osiberu’s Sugar Rush is now officially the 4th highest-grossing Nollywood film all time and the featured stars are rejoicing, Adesua Etomi- Wellington inclusive.

A high grossing film is a film that earned more money in the box office than others and Sugar Rush has hit the mark of number 4 among Nollywood’s films.

Adesua Etomi-Wellington, who starred in the film, couldn’t hide her joy as she took to her Instagram page to announce the good news. According to her, the only films that have performed better than Sugar Rush in the box office are Wedding Party 1 & 2 and Chief Day.

it’s instructive that Adesua Etomi also starred in Wedding Party 1 & 2.

The ecstatic actress also announced other Sugar Rush’s box office grossing achievements, some of which are not very clear from her jumbled post – we guess out of excitement. Punctuation matters. Anyway, the crux of the matter was that Sugar Rush was/is doing well in cinemas in West Africa surpassing even Hollywood’s Jumanji and Bad Boys 3.

Adesua Etomi also expressed her appreciation to fans and moviegoers, declaring: “You’re the reason we exist. Thank you for making all this possible.

A magnanimous Adesua Etomi also stated that she “can’t wait for many more Nigerian films to take over the top spots.” Aww. How sweet.
