Disney, Monday night studio released the trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker ahead of the film’s December 20 release.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will conclude the current Star Wars trilogy starring Nigerian-British John Boyega who has played the heroic Finn in the previous two films ( The Last Jedi and The Force Awakens), of the trilogy.

Disney has first previewed the concluding trilogy’s trailer at it D23 last Saturday before making it available to a wide audience last night.
The clip opens by taking us on a trip down memory lane with a montage of scenes from the original Star Wars series – featuring the late, great Carrie Fisher – before bringing us into the present with a slow version of Yoda’s Theme.
Luke Skywalker says: “We’ve passed on all we know. 1000 generations live in you now, but this is your fight.”
The Rise of Skywalker is the last Star Wars movie fans will see for a couple of years. Disney is taking a break from Star Wars movies, according to Disney CEO Bob Iger, who suggested that audience fatigue was the reason the Star Wars spinoffs Solo: A Star Wars Story and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story didn’t do as well as the company hoped. Solo was also critically panned.
However, the franchise will return in 2022 with a new movie from Game of Thrones creators, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson also has a trilogy in the works.
