The actress was speaking during a recent television interview with Ebuka.
Asked why she had hadn’t taken up the matter of alleged domestic violence by her ex-husband, Churchill Olakunle Oladunni to court, the actress replied:
“I’ve been trying to drag him to court. We’re still in the process, she told Ebuka, the interviewer.
When asked what the charges be, the actress paused slightly and replied “Erm, h well, that is private. I do not intend to keep making a caricature out of my private life. Everything that happens in court, stays in court. I’m done with the public”
When asked about the effect of all the drama on her son and the impact it might have on his growing up, Tonto replied, “that’s enough for the public, that’s for me as a mum”
Tonto Dikeh her ex- Churchill got married in 2015 but the marriage crashed over alleged infidelity on the part of the Churchill. Since then several accusations and counter-accusations have been throwing about from both camps. Recently a video surfaced which portrayed Tonto as a perpetrator of domestic violence in her failed marriage, the actress had earlier warned against the circulation of the material, which she was edited. She had since taken up the fight against domestic violence as one of her humanitarian causes via the Tonto Dikeh Foundation. her marriage produced a son, King.
