Last year, Kanye West promised to only release gospel music, a promise he fulfilled with the release of his album, Jesus is King.
Now, according to a report by TMZ, the rapper is planning to take his well known Sunday Service global. He has already toured North America and performed at Coachella and LA’s Skid Row.
Now, he wants to go further by taking his Sunday Service to Europe and Africa.
This will not be a strange event – at least the songs won’t be, as the rapper’s song choice cut across many genres and countries. A video of his Sunday Service performing Davido’s If and Beyonce’s Brown Skin Girl featuring Wizkid went viral.
A downside of the plan could be the steep prices, as tickets sold for as much as $250 in America. We’ll have to wait to know the details.
In the meantime, how excited are you (or not) for this to happen? Share your thoughts in our comments section below.
