NBA star Kobe Bryant and daughter, Gianni, die in helicopter crash
Basketball icon, Kobe Bryant has died in a helicopter crash on Sunday, 26th January 2020 in Calabasas, California.
The basketball star was married to Vanessa Laine and they had four children together.
According to the City of Calabasas, the crash occurred around 10 a.m. on Sunday morning in Calabasas, Calif., in a remote field off Las Virgenes.
Bryant played for the Los Angeles Lakers for the whole of his two-decade career, winning the NBA Finals five times.
A number of news outlets have confirmed that Bryant’s 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, also died in the crash, with three other unidentified persons in the private helicopter.
Tribute from many stars and fans have been gushing in. Many persons can’t reconcile the fact that Bryant is really gone.
Bryant, 41 and Gianna, his daughter, 13, were both in the helicopter with other persons and according to the county Sheriff, there were no survivors from the crash.
RIP, Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant. The news of their death is really a bitter pill to swallow.
