The filmmakers could not have chosen a more perfect day to premiere this sweet romantic movie than valentine’s day, when lovers will want movies that keep them in the mood to show love to each other.
‘Dear Affy’ has been a long time coming, first announced a few days after the Big Brother Nigeria show came to an end last year, with the extra news that former housemate, Sir Dee, would be a part of the cast.
That’s not all, singer, Teni Entertainer will also make her acting debut in the film.
Samuel Olatunji, who is the director of the film, has hinted the moviegoers should prepare for an unforgettable experience when ‘Dear Affy’ is finally released.
Dear Affy is a romantic comedy with a super plot twist, which tells the story of a beautiful career lady who is about to get married to the man of her dream who is on the verge of sealing millions of Naira worth of contract with a conglomerate in the construction industry.
However, he is faced with the devil and the deep blue sea as sealing the contract is hinged on him having an intimate affair with the female billionaire contractor by all means just a few weeks to his wedding.
All hell was let loose when the detail of his affair became subject of headline for the media, plot turns out to be a race of redemption for the fiancé, the man, the billionaire and their friends and family.
The movie is very star-studded, featuring stars like Eyinna Nwigwe, Kehinde Bankole, Odunlade Adekola, Chinedu Ikedieze, Bimbo Ademoye, Hafiz Oyetoro, Chiwetalu Agu, Lizzy Jay, Anto Lecky, Uzor Arukwe, Kolawole Ajeyemi, Ali Nuhu, and Timini Egbuson.
The premiere of the film was held in Lagos on 9 February and was so glamorous. If its any indication of the film, then fans can expect something stunning.
