Triple MG boss, Ubi Franklin, has taken some time off of his feud with former business partner, Iyanya, to commiserate with singer Waje, who recently announced she is taking some breaks from music.
Waje pinpointed the high cost of promoting her music as a factor in her decision.
Reacting to her announcement, Ubi tweeted that Waje works really hard. According to him, he had been in studio sessions with the singer and she won’t leave the studio until she gets the sounds right. The record label boss, however, notes that to be the artist and label at the same time is tough.
His Tweet:
“Waje works really hard I have been in different studio sessions with her, she won’t leave that studio if the song doesn’t sound right or she gets what she wants.
“Unfortunately, it’s not easy to be the Artiste and the Label (singing and looking for money for promotion) #tough”
