Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold, who secretly got married to another Nigerian musician Simi on 9 January 2019 dropped his first solo track of 2019 Before You Wake Up back in March.
The song is an uptempo song titled and his first since his critically acclaimed sophomore album, About 30.
With two albums already under his belt, Before You Wake Up served as a very exciting introduction into a new Adekunle Gold era.
On the song, Adekunle Gold admits to being shocked by how hard he’s falling for his lover and claims loving your significant other more is the romantic thing you should do before your lover wakes up.
The track is produced by Prolific Nigerian record producer, Sess.
