Lagos-born Toronto-based vocalist, songwriter and producer, Nonso Amadi, who rose to stardom in 2015 when he released his first EP, “Alone” dropped a follow up to that project titled “War EP.
He followed that up with a third EP, released on 9th of August 2019, which he called “Free”.
Free houses 6 amazing well-crafted tracks. The result of his hard work generated vibrations from pop music and highlife. Nonso Amadi definitely finds a perfect way to blend them to his will. He also made sure collaborations are kept to a minimum.
The lyrical genius says of his latest body of work: “I chose the sounds that would make people feel at ease, make them feel relaxed. I didn’t want it to be an EP that you listened to and you’re so hype.
“I wanted it to be something you listen to while you’re driving, while you’re having a chilled day at work,” he says about the offering.
Free is a vault of meaningful connections and vivid recollections.
