In 2018, Davido Music Worldwide released “Aza” featuring Davido, Duncan Mighty, and Peruzzi. The song dropped on the 20th of August 2019 and was produced by Fresh VDM.
Not only was “Aza” a hit song, but the PR given to the song was also gargantuan. “Aza” literally translates to ‘account number’, and a huge giveaway of 1 million naira was won by a few lucky fans on social media.
“Aza” is a song that expresses love and promises of diamond rings and plenty of bank alerts.
The video was massive too. It was shot by Clarence Peters somewhere in the eastern part of Nigeria, Port Harcourt precisely. It showed Davido and Peruzzi dressed in traditional attires as they walk into what looks like a traditional setting designed to honour a chief.
