According to Daily Mail, the singer’s body was found at her home in the Kalutara District, 17 miles south of the capital Colombo.
A call was placed to the country’s emergency line, 119 around 8.45pm on July 8, but Priyani later died from her injuries at Panadura Base Hospital. The singer’s husband is being hunted by police in connection with her death.
