In the series in which host Christiane Amanpour explores just how humans across the world navigate sex and love, Boduong had discussed maintaining an affair with a married man primarily for the purpose of catering for her bills.
While some were in support of the actress, saying she spoke the truth, many condemned her for using her position as a general opinion of Ghanaian women.

Following the controversy, Boduong has taken to her Instagram page to apologise. Sharing a text photo that reads “Dear Ghana”, she writes the caption:
“GOD works in mysterious ways and everything happens because he says so?? Thanks for the love, pieces of advice and criticisms. GOD bless us all! The full version of the interview drops this weekend and I hope you can appreciate what I said in its entirety. Thank you. God bless you all!”
Her apology seems to confirm what many of us have since suspected. I know we have argued in the editorial room at Sidomex that there is more to that interview than the snippet released by CNN. So, not surprising the lady admonished her critics to wait for the full version, which is to drop next week.
