Several outlets including TMZ, PEOPLE and Billboard magazine are reporting that the rapper has welcomed her first baby.
A source confirmed to PEOPLE magazine that Minaj and her husband, Kenneth ‘Zoo’ Petty welcomed their baby on Wednesday, 30 September in Los Angeles.
The name or the sex of the baby is currently unknown but that has not stopped the congratulatory messages from pouring in for the couple.
Nicki Minaj confirmed her pregnancy in July after fans had spent months speculating over whether she was expecting a baby or not.
She shared the news in her usual dramatic way, sharing a number of colourful looks with her baby bump fully on display.
She rocked several coloured wigs in the photoshoots including a yellow wig, a blue wig and a black one.
“#Preggers,” Minaj captioned the first image of her cradling her belly, “Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes.”
Even though she has not confirmed the news, fans of Nicki Minaj have taken to social media to celebrate the rapper and her baby.
