A Nigerian man has called for the disbandment of the Special Armed Robbery Squad(SARS)
Another day, another victim narrates their unsavoury experience with men of the special squad.
Narrating his ordeal, Facebook user, Simon Utsu, told how he and his friend were arrested for no apparent reason whatsoever. They were asked to enter a Danfo bus in which other innocent victims were huddled, with some pleading to be let go. According to Utsu, what saved them from the ordeal was the intervention by an unnamed senior military official. One of the victims had called the Navy official and the group could hear the SARS member denying culpability and lying that they had arrested the victims on red zone.
