High school student Nassir, 18, went viral when his mother, Fatima, shared on Instagram that her son decided to ask her to be his date for senior prom because years ago his mom opted to not go to her own prom in order to use the money to get an apartment to house her newborn, Nassir, whom she gave birth to six months prior.
