According to the New York Times, Empire Distribution, Records and Publishing Inc. offered the late rapper a $10 million deal for his third album before he died.
Empire’s founder, Ghazi Shami, who refused to comment on the reported deal, confirmed that the rapper finished “a significant amount of material” for the album before he died.
Since his death on June 18, XXXTentacion’s weekly streams have quadrupled, sending both of his albums back into the Top 5.
