Ridiculous!
The deceased identified as Mr Munakiishi Chinyoka, 42, was killed, his body burnt and thrown into a dam by two hitmen who were hired by Chinyoka’s killer girlfriend Loice Mahlamvana. One of the hitmen was an ex-boyfriend of the 39-year-old Mahlamvana, according to the Zimbabwean Chronicle.
She claims to have been abused by her deceased boyfriend and that she no longer loved him but he refused to accept that.
On the night of the murder, which was committed three months ago on the 29th November 2017, the hitmen were reported to have followed the deceased to his house. They blindfolded and hit him with a log until he passed out. They then carried him outside. On discovering that he had died, they had taken his body to a nearby stream, doused it in two litres of petrol and set it on fire. However, only the deceased clothes and cellphone were burnt. The men then proceeded to tie a stone on Chinyoka’s body before throwing it into the Mpandashango dam.
The body was discovered about a week later after it was found floating. It was then retrieved and taken to the hospital for a post-mortem. Police investigations subsequently led to the arrest of the trio last Saturday. They were subsequently charged in court yesterday. Their case was adjourned until the 15th February 2018.
