Is this the end of Usain Bolt’s goal scoring streak?

In case you didn’t know, Usain Bolt is on a goal-scoring spree.

During his most recent football match for Australian side Australia Gold Mariners, he scored two goals. that’s a big deal for Usain, eight-time Olympic gold medallist and World’s fastest man. Usain retired from athletics in 2017 and is now dabbling into football. Is this a long or short term decision, we wonder.

Although his agent says Usain has been getting offers from several teams, it isn’t known if he has accepted an offer yet. He was recently offered a two-year deal to play for Maltese side Valetta which he turned down. Valetta is owned by Abu Dhabi-based ownership group, Sanban Investment Group.

‘There is a lot of interest in Usain playing football,” Ricky Simms tells ESPN. “We regularly receive similar approaches. I can confirm Usain does not wish to pursue this opportunity in Malta.”

Bolt retired from athletics in 2017 and has trained with Borussia Dortmund, South African club Sundowns and Norway’s Stromsgodset.
