According to TMZ, Conor McGregor was leaving the Fontainebleau Miami Beach around 5 a.m. Monday when a 22-year-old man tried to take a picture of him. Police say McGregor slapped the phone out of the man’s hand and then stomped on it several times. He then took the phone which the fan says is valued at $1,000 and stormed out.
McGregor was arrested on charges of felony strong-armed robbery and criminal mischief.
In a statement released by McGregor’s team after he made bail, McGregor apologized for losing his patience.
“Patience in this world is a virtue I continue to work on. I love my fans dearly. Thank you all,” he says.
