Popular Nigerian musician Adekunle Gold would do what it takes to get where he wants. Hats off to him.
Before he became a household name, the popular singer came up with a fantastic way to get known on the internet – by photoshopping himself onto celebrity photos. Oh yeah, you read that right.
As he tells CNN’s African Voices, he did that because “if people didn’t know me for my music, maybe they would know me for this one first [meaning a photoshopped image of himself with Tiwa Savage]. And I’ll introduce my music later.”
And boy, was he right!
Obviously, Simi’s husband does not need to that any more as he is a megastar in his own right.
