Nigeria has recorded an additional 399 coronavirus cases according to the latest data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The NCDC made the revelation during its nightly update on coronavirus in Nigeria via its Twitter handle on Friday, 12 March 2021.
According to the authorities, the total number of coronavirus infections in the country now stands at 160,332 confirmed. It also stated that 144,059 COVID-19 patients have recovered and have been discharged. COVID-19 is the disease caused by the coronavirus, known formally as SARS-Cov-2.
2,009 people have died from COVID-19 related complications. This means that the active number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Nigeria as of Friday night, 12 March 2021, is 15,528.
