BBNaija Lockdown housemate Erica Nlewedin has expressed her displeasure at the ironic turn of the #EndSARS protests.
“It makes no sense that thugs are looting and vandalizing shops owned by citizens,” Erica tweets in complete displeasure.
She condemned the looting and vandalism of stores in one of the high brow areas of Lagos – Lekki – by hoodlums. According to her, the fight is supposed to be against the oppressors, not innocent citizens.
This is coming after thugs under the guise of protesters, took advantage of the unrest in the country to destroy properties and cart away goods belonging to store owners.
There have been, however, speculations that they are politically sponsored thugs, paid to cause mayhem and disrupt the peaceful protests.
Recall that Nollywood’s actress Uche Elendu cried out via her social media accounts after hoodlums looted her shops.
Erica took to Twitter to air her frustration and anger, tweeting: “Now thugs are looting and vandalizing shops in Lekki! These are businesses of fellow citizens! The fight is against our oppressors, this makes no sense!”
