He did not fail to point out that the success of Liverpool is based on the collective efforts of all the players.
He praised his teammates at the back that supply the attack with the ball but he especially commended Roberto Firminho, who he believes has the work ethic of an animal.
“Lots of people like to talk about me and Salah. It’s nice to hear those things, but the strength of this Liverpool team is the collective,” Mane told Bleacher Report.
“You also can’t forget that there’s a guy up front called Firmino who works like an animal for us and makes things easier. And the guys behind us do some extraordinary work. We try to benefit from that and help the team go forward.”
Mane also talked about his childhood adults stating that when he was a much younger player he dribbled a lot but as he hits the peak of his career he has learnt not to do “useless” things.
