It’s Friday and Wizkid’s latest single, Ghetto Love, has dropped just in time for the weekend grove.
Wizkid has been teasing the single all week to fans with snippets of visuals from the video.
Now, fans can have access to the real thing by streaming the song through their favourite streaming platform.
And as we suspected, Wizkid dropped both the singles and an accompanying music video at the same time.
The song is his first this year coming off of his highly anticipated upcoming album, Made In Lagos, which rumour has will drop next month.
Ghetto Love is produced by Kel P and Killertunes. It is a dancehall-influenced track with Wizkid sticking to his winning formula of a relatively short runtime, an infectious beat and an easy-to-follow lyrics.
In the video for the single, we see Wizkid perform the lyrics mostly in a studio setting. The visuals are interspersed with that of a young boy – the one he has been teasing all week- and an obvious stand-in for Wizkid’s younger, music-obsessed self — also performing the lyrics.
The video is directed by TBA.
